Involvement

MOUNTAINEERING


Nepal is a country well known as the Himalaya Kingdom.  It brings up to me a passionate experienced mountaineer in the climbing community.  I am an IFMGA/UIAGM certified mountain guide of Nepal. In my last 15 years of mountaineering career, I got lots of opportunities to lead, travel with different peoples and step in different mountains. Till now I have done twenty-nine (29) expeditions on 8000m mountains in four different seasons (Autumn/Spring/Winter/Summer). As well as I have volunteered as an instructor in high mountain rescue, introductory rock climbing and ice climbing training run by Nepal Mountaineering Instructor Association(NMIA).

SOCIAL WORK



Since 2006 I have been involving in Association Gaurishankar, a French, Basque led INGO for which I have been serving as a  country coordinator of this association’s projects in Nepal. We have been providing aid and support to some parts of Nepal in developmental works such as bridge construction, building the school and providing necessary educational materials, drinking water  and renovation of monasteries, etc. mainly focusing on remote areas of  Gaurishankar-VDC in Dolakha District of Nepal which includes my hometown Rolwaling valley too. Also, I am a former General Secretary of Mount Everest Summiteer’s Club, Rolwaling / Rolwaling Sangachholing Monastery Preservation  and Management Community / Rolwaling Community Forest  and active member of Nepal National Mountain Guide Association(NNMGA), Nepal Mountaineering Association(NMA).mountaineering cloths
