In 2013, during the third component of aspirant guide training held by the Nepal Mountain Guide Association (NMGA), we successfully summit Ponggen Dokpa far west summit 5804m by the west ridge. We tried it from north face but due to loose falling rock, we did not take the risk so we summitted from the west ridge.
