About Me

I was born in 1980 and grew up in Rolwaling, one of the isolated, mountainous and remote villages of Nepal which is located at the north-central part on the lap of Mt. Gaurishankar (7134m), also called Jomo Tsheringma by Buddhist Sherpas. I started trekking and mountaineering at the age of 20 as a kitchen boy (dish wash and cook helper). Since then I have done many trekking and mountaineering activities in Himalaya (Nepal, Tibet, China), Karakorum(Pakistan), Andes(Argentina), volcano mountain(Tanzania) and Pyrenees (France). also climbed several first ascents of Himalaya peaks in Nepal. my first summit to Mt.Everest was on May 16th, 2004 via standard SE Ridge when I was 24.

To become more professional in this field I took a course of a Trekking Guide at Nepal Academy of Tourism(NATHM) in 2000 and completed several mountaineering training including UIAGM/IFMGA certified Mountain Guide from the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) affiliated to International Federation of Mountain Guide Association (IFMGA) and completed the skiing level-II course from Disentis 3000 Bergbahnen, Switzerland.

 Since then I have climbed several 8000m peaks and more than 60 above 6000m peaks. 

1) Mt. Everest 8848m. 11th Times (2004/2006/2007/2008/2010/2011/2012 /2013/2018/2019/2021).

2) Mt. K2          8611m.   1   Time   ( 2017)

3) Mt.Annapurna I 8091m. 1Time   ( 2021)

4) Mt. Lhotse    8516m.   1  Time ( 2019 and twice ascent south face winter reach 8100m ).

5) Mt. Cho-Oyu  8201m, 1  Time (2009 without used of supplementary oxygen).

6) Mt. Manaslu  8163m.  2   Times ( 2011/2016 without used of supplementary oxygen).

7) Mt. Gasherbrum-I   8068m. 1 Time ( 2016 without used of supplementary oxygen).

8) Mt. Gasherbrum-II  8035m, 1 Time( 2016 without used of supplementary oxygen).
9) Mt. Broad Peak       8047m. 1  Time ( 2017 without use of supplementary oxygen),                   

once Mt. Annapurna III (7550m.), Mt. Himlung(7126m,), Mt.Muztagh Ata 7546m. and                    Mt. Amadablam(6812m.) twice.
